REFUND POLICY.

A legal disclaimer

At Millennial Maven Creative Foundation (MMCF), we deeply appreciate your support of our mission to empower women and youth. Because we rely on donations and event proceeds to fund our community programs, we have established the following policy regarding refunds.

1. DONATIONS

  • General Policy: As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all charitable donations made to MMCF are generally non-refundable.

  • Errors: If you have made an error in the amount of your donation or if a duplicate transaction occurs, please contact us at [Insert Email] within 15 days of the transaction. We will work with you to correct the error and process a refund if applicable.

  • Tax Receipts: If a donation is refunded, any tax receipt previously issued for that gift will be rendered null and void.
     

2. EVENT TICKETS 

  • Non-Refundable Status: Unless otherwise stated on the specific event registration page, all ticket sales for events—including the Holiday Hoedown and Line Dance Classes—are final and non-refundable.

  • Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that MMCF must cancel an event due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer attendees the following options:

    1. A full refund of the ticket price.

    2. The option to convert the ticket purchase into a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Foundation.

    3. Credit toward a future event.

  • No-Shows: Refunds will not be issued for "no-shows" or for participants who are unable to attend due to personal schedule changes.
     

3. MERCHANDISE & PHYSICAL GOODS

If MMCF offers physical merchandise (e.g., t-shirts or hats):

  • Damaged Items: If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with a photo of the damage to request a replacement or refund.

  • Size Exchanges: We may offer exchanges for different sizes depending on current inventory levels. Shipping costs for exchanges may be the responsibility of the supporter.
     

4. SPONSORSHIPS

Sponsorship payments are considered binding commitments to support our programs and events. Once a sponsorship agreement is signed and payment is processed, it is non-refundable, as these funds are immediately allocated to event overhead and community outreach.
 

5. PROCESSING REFUNDS

  • Approved refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment (e.g., the specific credit card or PayPal account used for the transaction).

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution's processing times.
